Warehousing, Storage & Distribution
As part of our supply chain offering, Caffrey International provide warehousing, cross docking, storage and distribution for both ambient and temperaure controlled goods.
The facility at Ashbourne is ideally located, close to Dublin city, to Dublin Airport and to the M50 Dublin ringroad, and is linked to the Motorway system with connections to the main commercial centres of Belfast, Cork, Limerick and Galway.
The site is in a secure location with CCTV coverage.
The ambient facility has more than 40,000 sq feet of storage.
The chill facility is 15,000 sq feet, and operates at 2 degrees centigrade.
Case Study: Collaboration with Oakland International:
With our partner Oakland International, we specialise in multi temperature services, offering storage, consignment consolidation and distribution for all sizes of cargo ranging from fixed case to full size pallets.
We offer added value services such as co-packing, labelling etc. as examples of how we are prepared to collaborate with our customers to provide Total Logistics Solutions on their behalf.
This collaboration allows us to provide:
‣ a daily trunking service from Ireland to the Oakland International Distribution Centre, UK Midlands, for onward next day distribution in the UK.
‣ a daily collection service from Oakland International to the Distribution Centre in Ashbourne for next day onward delivery in Ireland.
‣ services to/from Ireland to the Benelux, for onward distribution throughout Europe.
It has allowed us to engage with customers and to design bespoke solutions for them. Examples include consignment consolidations which provide reasonably-priced routes to market for startup exporters who want to test potential markets.
